Top Ten Tuesday -Women Who Lead

Today’s Topic: Ten Characters Who Would Make Great Leaders (Leaders of what? That’s your decision. Who could lead a country, an army, a book club, a classroom, etc. Or maybe characters that would be trendsetters?)

Hosted by: The Broke and the Bookish

I’ll admit today’s topic had me stumped for a bit. But then I decided to have fun with it and just play off the word lead.

Actually Leads a Wilderness Trek: Tempe Tucker

Most Likely to Lead a Suffragette Rally -Lilly Linton

Actually Founds/Leads a Town -Emma Chandler

Actually Leads a Gang of Outlaws -Blair

Most Likely to Lead an Underground Network/Spy Ring -Hannah Sunderland & Winter Reeves

Kind of  Leads a Double Life  -Eden Martelli, Lady Marianna Mayfield

Helps Lead an All-Female Military Mission -Annie Palermo & Teya Reiker

Acts as the Lead/Principal Dancer -Gillian Kincade

Takes the Lead in Investigations –Merinda & Jem, Tessie Finlay and Piper Sail

Actually Leads a Mission of Revenge -Lady Annyn Bretanne

What are some of your favorite books where women take the lead?

  1. I’ve heard ‘Storm’ is a good read, and love that you have a Denise Hunter novel on your list. Someday I *really* want to read Elizabeth’s (Beth) novel (its pretty self has been on my shelf for YEARS! Way too long, that’s for sure) and of course, I’m a fan of Rachel’s and Stephanie’s novels, too. 🙂
