Today’s Topic: Books with Nature on the Cover
Hosted by: That Artsy Reader Girl
I’m a big fan of nature’s beauty, both in real life and in artwork such as book covers. I tried to select newer releases or those yet to be released for this week.
Mountain Laurel & Shiloh
I love the more vintage feel of these covers. Kind of reminds me of when I used to press flowers.
Along a Storied Trail
Doesn’t that trail draw your eye in and make you want to explore more of it?
Autumn Skies
I love the slight mist rising from the water. All I need is a good deck chair, a blanket and a hot cup of coffee.
A Castaway in Cornwall
I’ve always loved the drama of sea shores surrounded by cliffs.
On the Cliffs of Foxglove Manor
This kind of feels like a Bronte story, with a remote heroine looking out over wind-swept and desolate cliffs, doesn’t it.
To Dwell Among Cedars & Between the Wild Branches
I LOVE how these two covers form a complete picture together. Plus, I’m already on record about my adoration of trees.
Yours Is the Night
The red poppies do it for me.
Provenance
Honestly, this reminds me of the views in Durango, Colorado where I spent time with my family over the years. My love for the mountains equals my love of trees.
The Gold in These Hills
If this doesn’t instantly transport you to the gold fields of historical record, than your imagination is broken.
The Joy of Falling
I just think this is one of the more beautiful and creative covers I’ve seen in recent years.
The Lost Castle, Castle on the Rise & The Painted Castle
I really appreciate that these covers show how nature can intermingle well…naturally, with man-made structures.
I adore the cover for Mountain Laurel. Wow!

The first two covers are so pretty, they look very vintage!

So pretty, especially Yours is the Night.
Ooooh, nice picks! These are all so pretty. And, yes, they make me want to step right into them 🙂
Happy TTT!
