I’m often drawn to a book due to excellent cover art. But sometimes I catchy or witty title will snare my interest too.

The peachy pink of the fan makes this cover stand out in a sea of similar historical fiction covers.

I’m intrigued. Who is this woman? What is her story?
Provenance
This cover brings to mind my childhood memories of visits to a small mountain town.
John Eyre
This is a classic that is ripe for a retelling, and the idea of telling it from a male version of Jane Eyre sounds very interesting.
Roommaid
I’m a sucker for a clever play on words such as this.
The Souls of Lost Lake
All of Jaime’s books have covers as gothic and atmospheric as the stories within.
The Gold in These Hills
I would read this anyway, because the author has a way with words. But that gorgeous cover draws me in even more.
I didn’t realize there were so many books in the Bromance series!

Great list! I agree, having something that stands out on a historical cover really helps to grab my attention.

I loved the cover of Jamie’s book. I have yet to read it though. But it is on my TBR list!
