Today’s Topic: Books On My Spring 2021 TBR
Hosted by: The Artsy Reader Girl
So many great books to look forward to!
The Songbook of Benny Lament -I’m always here for any new Harmon release. But I’m super excited about this inter-racial, jazz focused story set in 1960’s New York!
Making the Marquess – I’ve actually just finished this one. I’m really enjoying this historical series set in Scotland featuring a group of men who are trying to make sense of a past tragedy.
Before Time Runs Out -A time travel book honoring Dickens by one of my favorite authors? Yes, please!
The Mozart Code – I got totally addicted to the characters in The London Restoration and can’t wait to learn more about the mysterious Simon and his co-worker/lady love the fearless Sophie Villiers. ( This was originally slated for a Spring release, but looks like it’s been postponed for fall.)
The Prince of Spies – Camden’s historicals are a must read for me. And I’m eager to read this final entry in a three part series set during the Gilded Age, which is one of my favorite eras. Plus the hero is a charming spy, which is totally my catnip!
Hope Between the Pages – I’ll be honest. That cover and the hook line, “Uncover the Story Behind a One-Hundred-Year-Old Love Letter” have me sold.
A Peculiar Combination – I loved Weaver’s 1930’s female amateur detective series, Amory Ames, so I’m excited to see what she has created for a new female character within WWII London.
Let it Be Me – Sebastian really tugged on my heart strings in the first book of this series, so I cant wait to read his story.
Second First Impressions – I’m hoping I love this this latest offering from Thorne as much as I did her first The Hating Game, and am not disappointed in it like I was her second.
Twice Shy – Since Hogle wrote one of my favorite books of 2020, I’m eager to read this next story of hers.
BONUS: I’ve recently found myself obsessed with (auto)biographies of my favorite classic film stars. So, I aim to start working my way through the stack I just bought at my local book store. These are at the top of my list.
I loved Prince of Spies! And I’m very excited for Let it Be Me!
Ooh, good to know. It’s always nice to hear positive feedback.
Great list – a lot here which I’ve not come across before but look wonderful.
These are the books on my Spring TBR list!
I have Second First Impressions on my list too! And I loved You Deserve Each Other, so while Twice Shy almost got on there too. It will probably be a summer read for me though. Great list!
I have a feeling that we will see a lot of lists featuring those two books this week!
I hope you enjoy all of these books!

Thank you. I just hope I can get to all of them!
Amy Harmon’s book was so good! You’re going to love it! I also had Thorne’s book on my list today.
Ooh! I’m even more excited to read Amy’s book now.
