Today’s Topic: Books On My Spring 2019 TBR

Hosted by: That Artsy Reader Girl

I love the host of new books which get released each spring. There are so many great new titles this time of year that my TBR pile just gets bigger. Some of these on this week’s list are new releases which I haven’t read just yet. Others will be releasing later this spring. Either way, I’m very excited about the books on this list.

The One Thing I Know – Kara Isaac has quickly become one of my favorite contemporary authors. I’m curious about this tale of a radio relationship coach whose true identity is unknown.

Between Two Shores – All I know about the French Indian wars I’ve learned from reading historical fiction. True story. This novel about a woman who is part French and part Indian is sure to give a new twist to my understanding of this time in history.

Daughters of Northern Shores -I’ve adored every book Bischof has written. I’m especially looking forward to this sequel about the Noorgard brothers. I’m sure it will be heartbreakingly lovely.

Fearless – I’ve already pre-ordered this second book in a new series. I’m a sucker for medieval fiction and Tamara Leigh writes my favorite stories of this era.

Far Side of the Sea -This book is a bit of a sequel to Not by Sight and a long time in coming. I’ve been a fan of Breslin since her debut and always eagerly await any new releases.

Sweet on You – Finally! We get the last of the Bradford sisters’ stories. I can’t wait to read about Britt and Zander’s journey from best friends to more.

Within These Lines – As a someone who is fascinated by history, I always love reading about historical events which aren’t often covered in fiction. This book about two friends, one Italian and the other Japanese, who lives in an American internment camp is sure to shed light on a painful time in American history.

Now and Then and Always – Look, I don’t even know what this book is about. But I don’t have too. I’ve read all of Melissa Tagg’s contemporary novels so I know I will get a great story. Plus, just look at that cover!

A Modest Independence – I recently discovered Mimi Matthews and quickly devoured every one of her books. My favorite of her titles is The Matrimonial Advertisement and this is a sequel to that.

Romanov – I’ve long been obsessed by anything related to the Romanovs. Not to mention, I was blown away by the Brandes book Fawkes. So I have high anticipation for this one.

Printer Letter Bookshop – Hey, give me a book about a bookshop and I’m sold. Plus, I’ve enjoyed all of the author’s other books.

Murder in the City of Liberty – Nobody writes stories quite like McMillan who turns her city settings almost into a supporting character. This one is part of a sequel set in 1920’s Boston. I love a good mystery and this one features a unique hero.

Wooing Cadie McCaffrey -If this one is anything like the author’s last one, I know it will be both romantic and laugh out loud funny. Plus, I love reunion type stories.
