Top Ten Tuesday -Book Releases I’m Most Looking Forward to for the Rest of 2019

Today’s Topic: Most Anticipated Releases of the Second Half of 2019

Hosted by: That Artsy Reader Girl

I’m not exactly following the correct prompt for this week. But I will be out of the country for the next several weeks and was really excited about the prompt for next week.  I am really looking forward to some of the new releases for the last half of this year and have chosen to share those with you now. I’m feeling a bit proud of myself since my choices span a range of genres. But I”ll try to keep my gloating to a minimum.

Nameless – This latest medieval romance series from one of my favorite authors has been her best to date!  (No cover yet.)

Until The Mountains Fall – I’ve really enjoyed Connilyn Cossette’s series on the biblical Cities of Refuge. It’s such a fascinating concept and one she has written so well. I’ll be sad to say goodbye to all the characters in this final book of the series.

The Killing Tide – The first book in a new series by one of my favorite romantic suspense authors? Yes, please. Plus…that cover is stunning.

Midnight on the River Grey – This is the sophomore novel from this author. And thought I have yet to read her debut, it has received so much praise that I’m already excited about her second release.

The First Girl Child – I’m a huge fan of this author and was first won over by one of her fantasy stories. So, I’m looking forward to see what she does with this dystopian type tale.

Storm Rising -I’m always here for a new Ronie Kendig title and this is the first in a new series which also has ties to previous series. I’m ready for another roller coaster ride of a read.

Love and Other Mistakes – I’m always up for an author debut, especially if it’s a rom-com. This one sounds cute.

Beard with Me & Beard Necessities – I have absolutely adored Penny Reid’s Winston Brothers series and have been anxiously waiting for Billy and Claire’s story. Of course, it would be the last one Penny would write, but I expect it to be amazing.

The Spice King – Camden is one of my favorite authors of historical fiction. Also, that cover gives me all sorts of John Thornton vibes, so I can’t wait to see if the hero can live up to that.

Echoes Among the Stones – Though not in my usual genre, Jaime’s unique story-telling skills are so addictive. Not to mention chilling, compelling and full of wisdom in the face of tragedy. And she’s skilled at writing dual timelines and flawed but strong heroines.

The Dating Charade – I’ll be honest, it’s that cover which piqued my interest along with the title. It sounds like a cute little romantic comedy which is something I always enjoy. And the hero’s name is Jett. Jett. He’s gotta be cool.

And one last one added at the last minute…

The Work of Art – Because I love historical fiction and Mimi Matthews stories are my jam. Well-researched, with well-written characters and a social conscience. Not to mention, who doesn’t love a marriage of convenience story?

What are some new releases you are excited about?

  1. AHHH! Late though I am to reading this post I love seeing Dani’s on this list. (She’s always been a favorite.) Oh, and I hear Elizabeth’s newest is GOOD. Cannot wait to read that one, and of course, Jessica Kate’s has been high on my TBR for a looong time now. Currently reading it, and while I’m not very far in, it’s fun so far!
