Today’s Prompt: Favorite Places to Read
Hosted by: That Artsy Reader Girl
I struggled a bit with this week’s prompt as I literally can and do read everywhere! But then I had this bright idea. Why not choose places I like to read that are inspired by book covers?!
Bookshop/Library -Let’s be honest although a bookshop or library is a place you go to find a book, who hasn’t found themselves engrossed in the pages before purchase or check out? Especially it there are some cozy reading spaces to settle into?
While Traveling – I often get a lot of reading done while travelling en-route to somewhere. Thankfully, I don’t get motion sickness.
On Vacation – I know I’m not the only one who uses some of their cherished vacation time to get some reading time in, even when I find myself in some beautiful places that beg to be explored.
At the Beach/On the Water– Is there anything better than curling up with a book near the water, where the sound of waves provide the perfect soundtrack to a good story?
Drinking Coffee – I love it when I can combine two of my favorite activities.
Rooms with a View/Cozy Rooms – There is something about curling up near a window in a cozy room that just makes any reading experience that much better!
Out in Nature -While I don’t read out of doors as often as I could, when I do I always enjoy, the sound of the breeze through the trees, the majesty of the mountains bringing me back down to earth or the beauty of flowers enhancing my enjoyment of an imaginary world.
In the Evening – Is there ever a bad time to read? Thanks to Kindle, I can curl up under the stars or even read in bed.
On the porch – It’s really nice to have a charming and comfortable place to read right outside your front door, whether it be a rocking chair, a porch swing or a hammock.
I love reading outdoors! It’s so relaxing.

It really is. I need to do more of it.
What a great idea for a list! I love it. I really like book covers like the first ones that show cozy spots where I can imagine myself reading for hours.
Happy TTT!
