Today’s Topic: Books On My Summer 2021 TBR
Hosted by: That Artsy Reader Girl
I’m using this prompt as a kick in the pants to read some of the books on my TBR pile as well as a few new summer releases. I’ve already finished a couple that were originally on this list. Progress!
Lawless – I know I sound like a broken record, but Tamara’s medieval fiction is always on my must read list.
The Kindred Spirits Supper Club – Years ago, I read Reichert’s The Coincidence of Coconut Cake and loved it. I’ve been meaning to read another of her titles ever since and this cheerful, colorful cover caught my eye.
The Nature of a Lady – I haven’t read a Roseanna M White historical in a while. This one is set on the British Isles of Scilly in the early 1900’s which makes it prime for a summer read.
Bookshop by the Sea – The cover, the plot, the author all combine to ensure that this is definitely an appropriate read for this time of year.
A Peculiar Combination – I adored the author’s Amory Ames series and am excited to start a new one with a slightly later time setting and a unique heroine with an unusual set of skills.
The Bridge to Belle Island – It’s been a while since I read one of Klassen’s stories which remind me quite a bit of Jane Austen’s style.
The Curse of Misty Wayfair – Most people would save this spooky time slip tale about a mental asylum for fall, but I like to mix things up a bit.
Mountain Laurel -Normally I read this author’s books as soon as they are released, but I’m a bit behind on this early Americana story.
Some Bright Someday – I’ve gotten a bit behind on reading Tagg’s newest releases, but I always like her stories (and their covers).
A Mosaic of Wings – Although this author currently has three titles, this is her debut novel. I’ve not read any of her books yet and I’m really looking forward to potentially finding a new favorite author. I especially enjoy stories set in British India.
Oh so many good titles on you list! I especially The Curse of Misty Wayfair is one of my favorite Jaime Jo Wright books and I loved The Nature of a Lady. I hope you’ll enjoy them, too! Here’s my TTT: https://daniellegrandinetti.com/2021/06/15/top-ten-tuesday-books-on-my-summer-to-be-read-list/
I just finished The Nature of a Lady and really liked it.
I hope you enjoy all of these books!

Hi Carrie, thanks for stopping by.
I’m also SO behind on reading Melissa’s novels! Hopefully I can read at least one of them before her next September release hits store shelves. Happy summer TBR-ing!
I’m behind on Melissa’s novels too. But I made this list with the intention of reading all these books on it. So far I’ve completed half of them.
